FLUTE DAYS AND VISITS

A Flute Day with Zoë Booth features a range of mini-activities from Zoë’s popular residential courses.

"Thank you" Zoe for making our flute day such a special one.  I have had nothing but positive feedback; everyone enjoyed it  and the unanimous feeling is that you must come again next year!”

PRIVATE FLUTE DAY VISITS

A private visit can be arranged by Zoë Booth to your local flute department, established organisation, musical community or informal group of music-making friends, to provide a fun musical day - featuring a range of activities - as a one-off or annual event.

The advantage of arranging a Private Flute Day is that it will be held in your area, plus you get to choose the musical activities which suit your musical ensemble best, whether you’re looking to focus on a particular aspect to help your group improve, or just looking for inspiration through an event for your group members. Musical activities can include:

It is also possible to arrange for Rachael Buxton (piano) - Zoë’s recital partner - to accompany any Masterclass sessions, flute choir and/or the tutor recital.

For more information, or to arrange a Private Flute Day Visit, please contact Zoë Booth directly.

FLUTE DAYS AT BENSLOW

Flute Days are open to applications from adult players from the public, and are hosted by Benslow Music in Hitchin several times each year. Each Flute Day provides the opportunity for each participant to take part in Flute Choir, a personal Masterclass with Zoë Booth (accompanied by Rachael Buxton, piano), and warm-up/teaching workshops on a range of aspects to help improve your playing, whatever your ability level. During the day Zoë and Rachael will also give a short recital.  At the end of the day you will go home with lots of new ideas for repertoire and how to improve and practice!

FLUTE DAYS IN ST ALBANS - FLUTES AT THE BARNS

If you haven’t got time to get along to one of Zoë’s Flutes at the Barns courses, why not get along for a one day mini-course, packed with lots of playing, lots of tips, lots of opportunities and lots of fun! Adults of any ability are welcome to apply. The Flute Days are held in a beautiful converted church (now an arts centre) in St Albans, light and spacious with a rich acoustic, free parking, disabled access - and a light and tasty lunch provided in the cafe downstairs.
